Girls Junior Cricket playing formats
Update for Season 2024-25
Girls registered in the Junior Club are currently playing in the mixed competition.
We do not presently have a girls only team, contact the ANU Junior Cricket Club if you are interested in a girls only team this season.
We do however, have 17 girls aged under 10 attending the blasters program.
In Season 25-26 if we have sufficient numbers, we hope to have girls teams in Stages 1, 2 and 3.
Players need to register in August or September 2025 to ensure arrangements can be made.

The Junior Cricket Pathway includes a staged approach to help kids develop the required skills in a fun and action packed way.
Ginninderra Junior Cricket Club offers both dedicated Girl's teams (subject to numbers) as well the opportunity for girls to play in a mixed team if desired.
A key principle of the Junior Cricket Pathway is to encourage participation at the stage that is appropriate to ability level. The ages outlined are indicative only and could vary based on previous experience.
